Today, Trade Trans Terminal located in Curtici, linked directly to the border station Lőkösháza / Curtici, became the most modern handling and storage facility with rail access in Romania.
Excellent location at the Hungarian-Romanian border, in the 4th Pan-European transport corridor running from Hamburg / Rostock to Sofia (Bulgaria) / Thessaloniki (Greece) and Istanbul (Turkey), and 10th Pan-European transport corridor from Strasburg to Bucuresti and Constanta makes Curtici not only the gate for Romania, but also an important transit point on the road – rail rote between Western Europe and Middle East.
The entire Trade Trans investment was carried out on the area of 20 ha. The original investment plan provides further expansion of the terminal for additional warehouse space, tanks (silos) for handling and storage of bulk products, and the rest of the logistics infrastructure, depending on market demand and business opportunities.
During y. 2011 construction of cross-docking warehouse of 6000 m2 has been completed , 220 m long railway ramp inside the warehouse, storage yards and maneuvering area of over 10.000 m2, Own shunting locomotives, and fleet of trucks are available for international transport as well as domestic distribution through Romania.
